JYMDICK is seven actors who got together to support, encourage and teach each other to be better actors and better people. Actors have so many obstacles that we decided to build a forum where truth and trust are first and foremost. We needed a place to feel safe, to expand on our creativity as individuals, so we could grow in our crafts and explore other talents. Our intent is to display these talents through theatre and film. Baby steps. Do what we love to do. Tell stories. By jumping right in and getting involved in all aspects of entertainment, we hope to inspire other artists, the general public and ourselves with our passion and diverse abilities.

In the fall of 2001, five of us got together and co-wrote/co-produced The Winner, a 15-minute short film. We released in March 2002 and are currently submitting to festivals across the continent.
